Setup? Can you be more specific? Like where do I place it and on what? Or what do I set it to to make a photograph? Or how do I trigger it wirelessly? Or ? ? ?

That depends on the specific situation. Is it going to be your main light or are you using it as fill? Are you indoor or out?

Yeah flash is something that should be used differently depending on the situation

For social pics in dark places I whack the camera in M mode, set ISO 800, f/4-5.6, 1/80s and let ETTL do its own thing - sometimes I might set it to +1 exposure compensation on the flash if it's tending towards underexposure.

Off-camera.. well.. that's a whole different story :p
