Mostly seagulls are very stable in flight in that their wings are static (or at least they tend to be when I take their picture(s) )but apart being quite a crop I realised that the wings were in motion possibly due to the wind rather than flapping.

The body seems to be in focus, but both wings appear OOF. Exif indicates you took the shot at 1/100 at F11, ISO 100. Your speed is way too low to stop wing movement.

Hi
Fair appraisal and thanks for the feedback. What I failed to say was that I was more than happy when I realised what I had captured here because of the very fact that in the main gulls fly in such a manner that even at 1/100 the wings can tend to be 'static'. The blur/vibration in the wings here gives a needed impression of motion & flight.
