What do you do to protect your equipment in bad weather? I know I missed some good rain/rooster tail shots last weekend at the kart track as I didn't want to take my new 10D out when it was raining.

I've got one of these and have been very happy with it. NOTE -- it is NOT completely waterproof, no dunking!!

is it big enough to cover camera with 100-400mm attached? with flash? can it cover super telephoto primes?

Flash-No.
Lens cover extends about 6 inches.
There are other covers by various vendors with longer lens covers.
