Two excellent pictures, how did you get the height on the second picture.
Focus is great and the detail's in the sand in the second very good.
The colour of the sand is so different in the pictures why does it change so much?

I was positioned on top of another dune which gave me the over head angle. Its amzing to be out there and see how many colour variations there are in the sand dunes. I would imagine that in this instance, the lighter sand in the foreground of the photo is from the sand being only recently formed there creating the ridge, as the more orange sand in the back ground, it would have been there a fair bit longer (hopefully it makes some sense)
