Hi guys,
I am using the Canon S30, and noticed that when I print out the pics, the date is not indicated on them. Is there a setting of some sort that I can use that will make the date appear on my prints, just like the normal film cameras?

What do you mean by that? Do you want the date to appear right on the picture in a corner? The camera's not equipped to do that, and I don't think I'd want it to. Then, all of the image files would have a permanent date stamped on them.
Since you're printing them out, the fastest and easiest thing is probably to just get a pen and lightly date them on the back. Low-tech, I know, but easy to do.

Not sure if this helps, but Ofoto stamps the print date on the back of their prints.

I am using Zoombrowser EX (v3.3.2.39) and it lets you print the date on the face of the print. Actually it prints the day of the week and the date (Monday, July 22, 2002) in a large font and it is really ugly. ZB also has options to print Filenumber, Date, Date and Time, Title, and Comments. I tried it selecting all of these options and it completely covers the entire image!!!
If your interested it checking out this feature go to the File menu and select Preferences, then select the Printing tab and check the options you want.
I think that the only good application for this feature would be to use the Date and Comments options to create realistic looking mug shots.

Ok, I guess I'll just add the text if I want them then.
