Is processional the correct word? hahaha. I am a beginner just to let everyone know. My question is, if I am using a 28 - 75mm 2.8, what is suggested settings when the wedding party is walking down the isle? I have practiced a bit but seem to still get blurry pictures. Any suggestions?

Prefocus on a spot, shoot when they hit it, you want 1/125th at least and F5.6 if you can get it, go up to ISO1600 if you have to. Flash is troublesome, it bounces off pews closer than the subject so doesn't light them at all unless you're careful.

Yeah tims right, if you shoot canon use Ai focus (that constantly refocusing on your focal point) keep your shutter at a min of 1/125 keep your iso up, i use flash if possible set on manual aim at roof with a disperser so your going to have to crank it 2-3stops up to light whats in front of you(dont let it auto meter it will probably choose the lit outside and hence give your subjects no light/to dark). Flash or no flash try to get a test shot off and check, all churches are different, its one of those situations where speed and being on the ball make all the difference....

I'm not a fan of AI focus, but you should try out all the methods suggested and make your own decision.

And if you can, talk to the wedding party before hand.... make sure they remember that it's not a sprint... go slow down the isle. ;)
