Vulcania is a museum on vulcans in the French Auvergne near Clermond Ferrand (http://www.vulcania.com/anglais/index.php). They have some tower with a great inside. I shot the inside of the tower almost vertically upwards. Unfortunately it was a rainy day, so the sky was all white making the picture boring. So I called PS to the rescue, blended in some nicer sky from my stock and after several trials and failures produced this. Hope you like it.
(Since someone will ask it: the little structure at the bottom right is the end of a bridge that allows visitors to enter the tower at another level.)

Stunning image msol. I have a G3 and it is good to see what it can produce - with a good author, of course. :)

Weird....when I scrolled down with wheel on the mouse, it gave the illusion that the bottom half of the image was moving....I guess because the whole image doesn't quite fit on the screen....anyone else get this?

Oh, great pic btw....very good PS work....

This is a top notch image. The gold and blue colors compliment so nice. The lower gradient from dark to gold with the square shapes is so pleasing. I see clouds reflected on the edge of the structure. It's just so pleasing. My eye loves to travel across this picture, pause and then swirl around it again. Excellent work.

I am a fan so far. Although I think the cloud reflections on the buildings are not too realistic, esp on the edge of the lower building where it stands out the most. But that is just how my eye sees it.

knowing what the actual buildings look like, I can say this shot is way too PSed .... good effort for a Digital Illustration image or something along those lines...

I noticed it as well.It must be because the window boxes expand outward as you scroll down creating the illusion.nice pic! :)

That is a great shot!

Had you not mentioned your digital wizardry, I would never have suspected.

Best regards,
Andy
