Can anything be improved with this image, or is it perfect?
Thanks for the commits.

horizon straightening...
I think that there is also very much noise in the pic ...
but otherwise, good idea...

Nice, you could clone out the "hotspot" under the rock as well.

Doens't do anything for me at all. Just a big fountain and a rock.
I think you can improve this by merging 2 shots: one exposed on the foreground and one on the background. Merge them in PS.

Sorry but I agree with henk. I also find things like the bench and the pole in teh background quite distracting.

At 30s exposure you are going to get pixel noise. This picture demonstrates that principle. The digital noise does not add to the quality of this picture. There are at least three unexplainable color spots. One blue or purple spot below the shadow side of the rock, one red spot in line and above the blue spot about mid height of the fountain and one white spot at the top of the bench backrest post closest to the fountain. There are two white spots in the sky. At first I thought they were stars. Now I think not. Are those points of light for real or are they digital artifacts?

What camera?

Note: The white spot is only visible on the full size version of this image, not on the reduced size.

The exposure should have been a lot shorter. You've ended up with a piece of ice and a rock, but the rock looks very nice.

Well the horizon and the noise can be easily fixed. Other than that, it would be nice to be able to see more background, like already said. Keep experimenting though, I reckon it's one of the best ways to learn.
