As most of you know, 20 or so folks from the Wedding Forum met up in Albany, NY this past weekend for our fiscal POTN Wedding Forum Meet. I'll start off by saying it was an absolute BLAST!
Everything ran SUPER smoothly and I don't think there were any problems at all. It was really incredible meeting all the friends that you have been talking online with for ever. Thanks to everyone that participated, everyone that helped organize it, and for our lovely models who did a fantastic job!
Anyway, I'm proposing to post all of the photos from the meet in this thread, so we don't bog down the server with 18 different threads of photos.
I'll go first. Here are some shots with some of the models:

9. Jamie modeling.

Great shots. No comment on number 17, other than: GIVE ME BITCHY.
One look at this smile tells the story of the day:

Unfortunately, Lloyd had a bit too much Snapple. I was looking for sidewalk chalk to outline his body like on CSI.
http://www.pbase.com/mdjak/image/88432680.jpg
I ask you, have you ever seen a bigger bunch of nuts?
http://www.pbase.com/mdjak/image/88432683.jpg
I had so much fun and laughed so hard, I'd do it again tomorrow.
Special thanks to Suzy and Mickey, Rich and JamesDean for the setup.
And I'd be remiss if I didn't mention my first group teacher Lloyd, who's a master of off camera lighting, so much so that even a dope like me learned something from him.
Followed by Jeff "toogy" who taught his awesome group posing along with model positioning. Invaluable to me; thank you so much.
And my last group, last but certainly not least, Jaimie, one of the coolest and most animated guys I've had the pleasure to hang with; an infectious smile and laugh that made everybody comfortable to be around. And he made me go buy a G9.
After the group shooting was over with, Brian followed with a mini Lightroom lesson. Definitely a master and a fun and funny guy.
thanks again.

Here are some of mine. I mainly took pictures of the guys taking pictures. I was really more interested in the learning part, not so much the shooting. I took a lot of mental notes.
#1 Just arrived and Kathy loved the bouquet.
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c379/sbastian/IMG_8209_KathyBouquet.jpg
#2 The other side of Kathy :)
Due to Kathy's request, I had taken this off. See, I can be reasonable. :)
#3 Lloyd teaching us about off camera lighting and even outdoors. It was around 48 degrees outside. So, poor Heather was getting really cold.
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c379/sbastian/IMG_8221_Heatherspinning.jpg
#4 Jeff's natural light techniques. Wonderful model, Amanda.
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c379/sbastian/IMG_8236_Amanda1.jpg
#5 Jamie's taking a usually uncommon area to have natural light and large aperture with the 50 1.4. Jamie's all over the place.
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c379/sbastian/IMG_8250_Jamieinaction.jpg
#6 Jeff. Sorry it's not in focus.
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c379/sbastian/IMG_8206Jeff.jpg
#7 I got on my flight to Dulles around 6 a.m. The sun was just coming out. The colors were amazing and I thought, the perfect end to the perfect trip. Thanks, everyone!

No, that's not all I came away with. I also got a new monopod. :)
Cosworth bought the new Tamrac Velocity 9, then sat in Grand Central Station, emptied out his sand filled old backback and dumped it right in the trash.
Kathy also purchased the sunpack video light. In fact, it was her memory of it that led me to get one too. :)

Lloyd: The one who brought the least gear. He didn't even bring his laptop. :(
Mark: The one who brought the biggest lens. No one will argue that one. :)

The Arrogant Bastard was definitely one of my favorites. I'm sure Mike will grace us with a menu list in the next couple of weeks. I know I definitely want to get out and get some of that stuff! Especially the desert beer ... mmm

For the glamour shot, I don't think the video light was used yet. The directional light was sufficient for that shot :).

Tom, the luncheon the hotel had was so wonderful, I can't believe we only paid $55 each for the day. They went all out for us. And the restaurants were top, as well. Food was not a problem.
The Lodge was a large room with a fireplace, a couch, and a bar. the main decorations were stuffed dead animals. We had a long table with a white tablecloth with power in the middle. It was actually perfect for every part of what we did.
