I posted this in General Chat, but judging from the lack of response I posted it in the wrong place.
Ok, so I am going to be in Atlanta GA for a few days at the end of this month. I should have some free time as it is a Biology Teachers meeting. What is there to do and see in Atlanta for 3 partial days?
Thanks

I don't know what is in season at the moment but the Botanical Gardens (http://www.atlantabotanicalgarden.org/home.do)is very nice. I was very impressed when I took my children there this past summer. There is a lot to do in Atlanta, so your question is quiet loaded. There is also the CNN center, Coca Cola (http://www.worldofcoca-cola.com/) has a nice facality, the aquarium (http://www.georgiaaquarium.org/), Atlanta underground (http://www.underground-atlanta.com/). Depends on what you want to do. But there are some things for you to start you hunting with.

Go to the zoo. They have 3 baby Gorillas that are absolutely the cutest things you've ever seen. Two of them are the only twins to be born in captivity and raised by their mother.

I would leave the zoo off the list or the last thing on the list. I was not impressed. But that was just me.

There are always Stone Mountain, Fernbank, and many other museums as well.
