Newbiw - Rio de Janeiro pics

First post (thanks for having me :lol: !).
Trip to Rio in February. Sugarloaf Mountain and my first experiment with 'rule of thirds' on the 2 cable car pics. The cable car is going up in one pic and down in the other Hope you can spot which - i was hoping having it in the bottom corner would give the impression of the car coming 'into' the pic??. (vice-versa for the one going down)
The other pic of the mountain i just liked. The last is a Rio street scene and I really liked the colours.
Taken on a A70.
What do you all think? Should I stick to stamp collecting :cry:
(Sorry if they appear blocky or small, the originals aren't blocky, it's just that i'm playing around with the resolution for uploading etc and i'm still learning!)...

Thanks for looking at them. Hmmm, I see what you mean. Looks like I'm still doing something wrong.
I'll see if anyone else gets the same problem.
