I have been looking at these two backpacks. Right now I have a Micro Trekker and its just too small for my 10D. The camera is 6 Inches deep. I have read multiple posts about people using the Mini Trekker and the camersa fighting just fine but the Tamrac is roughly the same size and 6 inches deep. Anyone have any expierence with either one of these bags?

We use the Micro 200 for our 10D and it works great. The 100 we used for the D60 (when we had it) and it was small, but it worked. Since my wife and I shoot together most of the time those worked great for us.

Now that I have the MKII the Micro200 just will not work. I bought a large Tamrac pack as a carry-all when we get serious, and I have a Mini-AW on the way from B&H as we speak that will be the "light-pack" for the MKII, so that should work just fine for your 10D.

How many accessories are you planning on hauling with it?

Do you have the grip on the 10D? I do and I want it to fit snug not tight.

I have a Tamrac 5259 it's roughly the same size as the 767.

Interior - 11 1/2 W x 6 D x 14 1/4 H

All my gear fits well and the depth is perfect for my DRebel with the grip.

I'm happy with the Mini Trekker. It holds the following stuff :
10D (no grip yet)
Canon 70-200 f/2.8L
Canon 50mm f/1.8 MkII
Tamron 28-75 f/2.8
Sigma 15-30
Canon 380EX
Lumiquest Pocket bouncer
Xdrive 1
Small stuff - CF cards, lens cleaning cloth, filters, spare battery.

The front pocket has room for things like car keys, wallet, Maglite, pens, business cards, Palm organizer and a bottle of water. You can also fit the tripod on the outside.

In my Mini Trekker:
10D + Big ED + 70-300 DO IS
Hood for the above lens
EF50 f/1.4 + hood
EF17-40L
420EX flash
FlashTrax
Charger for the BP-511
Remote switch
Lumiquest Promax kit
extra batteries for camera and flash
CF cards, lens cloth, a filter or two
plus there's room for the ballhead or an extra lens the size of the 75-300IS

That's good enough for my needs... and that's just inside the bag.
