NIce pictures. I've seen so many of VoF that my favorite on eis the green plant on the red sand.
I like the perspective in the winding road shot, too.

If you get a chance to go to red rock (way on the other side of town) you should go.
I'll be working at the airshow and wont be allow to take my camera.

The air show should be great. It will probably be the biggest they have had since it is the 60th anniversary. The forecast is for partly cloudy friday through sunday so you should have better light than I did.

Its more common than you may think.
I do like the contrast though. a plant growing out of sand, red sand at that, is different.
everyone comes to Vof/redrock to take the same picture form 100 different angles.
the green plant in red sand is a different view.

I've actually taken so many pictures of Redrock that my camera and wife refuse to go anymore. But there is always too many people there.

I am pushing myself to go to different places. I am really excited about petroglyphs right know, but i haven't found a good way to photo/display them properly. There are so many places around here that have great displays and i would like to document some of the different styles.

I must admit that I can't wait for the first snow at Redrock this year.

I love it.
I find the VOF has too many people there. I havent really exploring mousses tank much though

Nice. I was there this past summer and I think I took the exact same shot as your #4.

Thanks for the nice photos, VofF is such a neat place. We were there a couple of weeks ago but didn't take a lot of photos (my 4th trip).

I'm a big fan of Petroglyphs and Pictographs. We should do a thread just on those.
