Alright well I'll be the first to comment! I love them all! I think that 2 and 3 are my fav's though. They are a little dark, but that captures the moment. I wouldn't tweak it anymore except possibly saturate the green because the grass is great, but needs just a tad more.
Great shots!

It's an area called Magoon Creek located a few miles south of Manistee.

they all seem a little dark and maybe over processed

Really nice captures. Very dramatic! :-)
Did you process parts of each image on different layers by any chance; particularly the first three? I like the strong colours, although the sky/sea/land sections in the first three appear to have slightly different processing from each other.

Some of the log is out of focus in 6! You've gotta go smaller than f/5.0 for this kinda shot. Were these handheld? If they were tripod mounted, stop down, stop down, stop down.

Nope the pics are single shots edited with Digital Photo Professional, the software that came with the camera. I did have my Cokin filter on.

Yep these were tripod mounted. I'll try to go below F/5 next time.

They are all really great. I agree about the OOF log in 6, but your composition is awesome ( espescially #4, I love it).
What lense were you working with and did you use a variety of filters?

Thanks drandtus. The lens was the 28-105 and I used Cokin's Gradual Grey G2 (ND8) filter.
