Here are some pictures of ducks which I took recently, I did post them in a different thread, so some of you may have seen these already, C&C welcome:

Is the first one a tufted (tuft?) duck? I have seen that duck in my 'ducks of the world' book and *think* I recall it as a tufted duck. Handsome lil' guys...similar to our Scaup, but ours are sans the toupee!!!

Sorry I haven't got a clue what any of the ducks are apart from the mallard at the bottom - :oops:

Hi,
They're Tufted, Rosybill, Tufted and Mallard. As Rosybill isn't native to the UK can we assume it as in captivity somewhere? If not that's an unusual escape!

Thanks for your comments and help with the ducks, here is where the Rosybill lives at the moment:

It's a public pond, so I guess the Rosybill decided that it was a nice place to live.

Thanks for your comments, it's a pity that the link doesn't work it just shows the pond where they are living.
