Painting of Mount Fuji

Went out shooting with mkronmal last Sunday. We've been having mostly bad weather conditions for the past few months, but of course the day he comes, the sky is beautiful! How lucky can a guy get? :-P

Here is one of my many shots from that day. It's not really a painting, but it kind of reminded me of one. I'm really looking forward to his posting some for comparison.

Yes it's a great sky but for me it's oversaturated but it might work if you can rescue some of the detail in the mountain.

Thanks for your comments, but the shot is straight out of the camera; I didn't increase the saturation at all.

That's pretty amazing then. I'd understand if the lighting caused that effect on the mountain but it would explain the sky to be so vivid.

The shot was taken an about 6,000 ft. above sea level early in the morning on a very clear day, so the sky was much bluer than it normally is here.

Another stunning image of Fuji. The way the light is hitting the peak it looks like it's glowing, nice capture.
