Sorry all, I'm just starting out and having bother with the hosting. My previous pics were p/word protected. Maybe the mods can remove my previous attempts?

Anyway, let's try these again.
Sugarloaf Mountain views. 2 of which are my attempt at 'rule of thirds' (yip, i'm at that level  )
The Pele pic was taken really quickly. Got some camera shake but maybe it adds to the feeling? (poor excuse  )
The other pic is a street scene and I really liked the colours.
All taken on an A70.
Any comments greatly received 8) Could anyone please let me know if they are still having problems viewing??

#1, 3 and 4 are really nice, perhaps a little adjustment to enhance the greenery on #1 maybe though?

I guess we were hoping for some beach shots with lots of bikinis.

Hi Pete,

Thanks for getting back. :D Yeah, now you've mentioned it it does look a little dark. Also since you've drawn my attention to this, I now think that #2 looks a little light. Not sure if it is overexposed? They were taken around 2pm and it was one of those days where there was big dark clouds one second and then the sun would split the sky then next (was also a little hazy at times that day).
:?
Thanks for the comment, you've made me look at then a little differently. I'm just getting into this and it's great to get some feedback.
Craig.

Hi guy's,
Ok, these are the only 2 beach shots I have (beware nudity  )
(Wife was with me  ) I don't normally take pics of 1/2 naked guys doing excercises
But anyway, let me know what you think? Is the dusk shot a little dull?
I reckon the horizon isn't level in the other but again, thought it portrayed the mood of Rio. 8)
Thanks.

I love 1 and 3. There's nothing wrong with the other ones, they just don't "do it" for me.

Yea, for #2 the cameras set the exposure by the lighter surroundings, not the greenery, hence the brightness.

Thanks for the feedback guy's. Oysterhead - they are probably my favourites as well. It's such a great place for photography. Just wish i had visited when i was a little more advanced.

Criag, I really like #1... it makes me wonder how it would look in black and white. You've done a good job of conveying a treal sense of height, which I find is often hard to do.
