Here are some shots from the studio portion of one of my last weekends e-shoots. This was a great couple, and we had a blast!
I was hoping to get some examples from some of you last week, but no one replied to my posting (imagine that).
Anyway, here are my attempts:

I like the posing and expressions- they all look too dark (could be my computer). I would try to throw the background a little more out of focus.

yes, the blacks are looking too black to me. Maybe also get more pics of them engaging each other too.
and probably nobody replied to your request for examples because pretty much none of us do e-shoots in the studio.

agreed.........they are too dark and could have used better lighting setup.
I am not a fan of studio photos..........I like them ooh natural. Studio makes them look stiff.

Alright! Some good feedback. Thanks! I think I need to calubrate my home pc. They look darker to me at work too. I may have gone a bit overboard with the black also.
Stathunter, I would like to hear some of your imput on improving the lighting set-up. I always struggle with this. I agree about studio vs natural, but this was a client request. I have a buch of outdoor ones of this couple I will post on a seperate thread.
This exposure seems to look better on my work pc. What do you guys think?
Thanks again!

Your last image their skin tones look better (on my PC) the ones before are a bit warm and as someone already mentioned a bit dark.
It's the background that's not doing it for me, I find it quite distracting.

I have the same backdrop.
I like them. I get so used to seeing natural settings that I was prepared to mot like these. But I think you posed and lit them very well. You make me want to break out my backdrop again...
