I casually mentioned I'd like a kayak a few weeks ago - and my DH came through and gave it to me tonight as a birthday present.
It's an inflatable one, called a Pakboat - Puffin Sport.
I'm a grandma, and not particularly sylphlike. In fact, some folks might use the word obese to describe me.
I did test paddle the boat a few weeks ago, so I know I fit in it. But I do wonder about the ease of getting in and out when there is not a helpful salesman in the area.
Also - how does one secure one's camera to the thing? The salesman mentioned using a dry pack, lashed to the deck.
Anyone have any advice?
