B/w & experimental

Hi

1st shot is HDR but a little too colourful I thought. I then coverted it to b/w and did some dodging and burning. This is the first time I have used the dodge and burn tool so go easy ;) What do you think?

I actually prefer the B&W..(but thats me..)

ps. what is "dodge and burn"

Hiya James

I am new to this and I am sure other members will explain it better that me. Basically it is a tool in Photoshop that allows you to make tones lighter or darker. You use the dodge tool to make highlights brighter and you use the burn tool to make darker tones darker.

Anyone else willing to go in to more detail?
