I caught this tree dancing - and flinging its Autumn colors into the early morning mist...

Very interesting shot. The colours are perfect, too.
However i find the cropping a bit odd and unbalanced. I imagine an adjacent tree had somethin to do with that?
On a second look, I'd say you used a huge warp command and twisted the tree into its shape... ;)

Good call again! The "tree" is actually 3 trees growing close together. After playing with (and getting frustrated with) the original photo, which was a mediocre tree sillouette in morning fog, I decided the gap between the trunks looked somewhat like legs, and the rest somewhat like body and arms - thus I pursued the "dancing tree". I was going for something celebrative - something an exuberant fall tree might do when no one was watching . The tree was warped with a swirl effect and the background colored to make it look like the tree was flinging its colors into the air. It just kind of evolved and was mostly done for fun.
Thank you for the comments, and thanks all for viewing my dancing tree!
