Hi

I have a canon eos 300

i know it is not a digital one - but i like it loads

currently i have a fish eye adapter lense, a normal something to 80mm lense and a big one to 350 mm

I was wondering what else there is available - i have heard of the wide angle lense that does not distort as much as my fish eye one?

i just dont know which ones will fit my camera and how to tell - eg if looking on ebay or something?

i know its a load of jibberish - but i need a hand please!!

Any EF lens will fit your camera. In fact, the only Canon autofocus lense that won't fit are the newest EF-S mounts which will only work on certain digital cameras (and there's only a couple of those).

So there are Canon-built lenses currently available that go from 14mm up to 600mm. There are third party lenses available that will go even wider.

"wide angle" for a 35 mm camera covers lenses from about 14 mm. focal length (hideously expensive) or wider, up to about 35 mm. focal length. If your "something to 80 mm" lens is 28-80 mm, it's actually a wide to moderate telephoto zoom. The next step from there would be to about 24 mm, either through a zoom (Canon has them starting at 16, 17, and 24 mm; Sigma has a couple starting at 12mm and 15 mm) or a "prime" (single focal length). Any lens described as "Canon EF" mount (NOT EF-S) will fit your camera, whether it's made by Canon (best) or someone else (Sigma, Tamron, Tokina are among those that various people think well of).
