HOW DO I USE AF IN THE MANUAL MODE ? IS THIS NOT POSSIBLE ? IF NOT, HOW DO I SHOOT STUDIO IMAGES WITH STUDIO STROBES IN MANUAL MODE ?

You put the camera in M mode, and then you half press the shutter button (unless you have changed it under custom functions) and the camera will autofocus.

Make sure the switch on the lens is set to AF and not manual.

YES IVE TRIED THAT BUT IT STILL WONT AUTOFOCUS.........

OK.......GOT IT........I BOUGHT THE CAMERA USED AND THE PREVIOUS OWNER HAD DISABLED THE AF IN MANUAL MODE..........THANK YOU FOR THE INFO.
