copyrighting? logos too...

do we as photographers automatically have copyright on our photos? i assum yes correct?

and for you people who use logos in your pictures did you guys go through USPTO and register your trademark for that hefty fee?

i assum yes correct? Generally, yes...
1/ if you don't care about extensive damage awards if someone uses it without permission, &
2/ as long as it wasn't a "Work for Hire".
