Fascinating. Fit and finish is definitely inferior, but if they work, they're a tremendous bargain.

Yes.. mine finally arrived yesterday.
They certainly do not seal as well.. and the latch is "funky" and looks like it will break long before the Canon one does...
I have yet to see how long they last but they should last longer of the specs are accurate.
That said,. I ordered mine long beofre I actually got my MkII.. and as the MkII gets over 1200 images per charge.. as opposed to the 1D getting only about 350-450... I did not realize I would not really need these extra batteries.
I suspect I'll be selling some on E-bay soon.
