I have a question, when you offer portrait packages, are the senior packages simmular or are they the same price? Or how would it work. thx

I just set my senior packages. What I did was figure out what a lot of the local businesses in my area were charging and I tried to balance out what I wanted to provide. A lot of it was based on which photographers I respect and how well I felt my skills matched.
It's a tough one and will probably change my packages by next year :)

I keep hearing about folks having separate packages for seniors. Can anyone explain their reasoning? I'm not understanding why one needs two different sets.
TIA,
Willow

At least in my area the reasoning seems to be number of locations, number of outfit changes, time, and prints included (ie. a lot more wallets then a regular portrait session)

Ah... thanks! I happen to love seniors... many don't. I don't have separate packages, but then my packages are prepaid and pick what ever you want to spend your dollars on.. or pay a session fee and higher prices for a la carte. I don't mind the extra outfits and location changes. Keeps it interesting. That and I'm crazy... I like teenagers. Good thing, I have one.

thx, but how would you separate these packages from each other, becuase the pricing is very simular, and the time you spend. anyone have an example?

cccp145 - you can have a look at my site... my prices are under the "nitty gritty" tab.

WARNING: it's a flash site AND has music! ;)
Basically, if someone prepays a package, they save the session fee ($75) and then their $$ goes further as the with collection price is lower than the a la carte...
I set my lowest collection at the MINIMUM I want to make on a session. I offer incentives to spend more too.
