Help with pricing model please!

Hello,

I am trying to decide how to price my packages for senior portraits. In the area it is fairly well split between...

1. Session Fee + Minimum print order, then higher priced individual photos
or
2. Session Fee + Packages, then you can buy individual photos after that (a littler cheapher)

When I go to ask the parents which one they would prefer it is also split. So does anyone have any insight as to which might lead to more revenue? It seems like it would end up the same either way because the people are going to buy the pictures they want to have.

I'm not a pro but I would say the package is the way to go. Cable companies have been using that model for years.
