Some user reviews here too although you need to take a look at the folks' background and experience to determine the size of the grain of salt: photographyreview.com (http://www.photographyreview.com/Lenses/PSC_3787crx.aspx).

I dont think going to canon's site for an imartial review of a lens is going to work really.
I made a post in forum features the other day because as far as i can see there isn't a decent lens review site with the exception of FM.

We should have an area on this site with reviews. Then it would truly be the best canon community on line.

Yeah I wasn't really looking for info from Canon tauting their own lenses! I was having a hard time finding sites with real world reviews from (at least partially) unbiased users. Other than FM I hadn't really found a good one, although the one Nick posted is pretty good too. Like he said, you just have to take each one with a grain of salt, but that's true for any review ya know?

photosig.com has all of its photos (several million I'd say) grouped according to a lot of categories, including lens. that might be good to check out.

Here's a link to a Photo.net thread where a lot of lens reviews are compiled. I don't think any of them are Canon sites.
