Well, just the other day I started hearing that loud and annoying screach of the Scrub Jays...So I had to grab the camera and Peanuts today and have some fun! I love Jays, they are some of the most interesting and intellagent birds I have seen.

All CC is welcomed and Encouraged,
Thanks for looking! Enjoy!
Mike

#8 Thanks for the Peanuts sucker!

What was even funnier, was i came inside to upload my shots, and not even 5 minutes later, i see him out on the railing again...I realized that the door was left open and the peanuts were sitting on a container about 10-15 feet inside...I noticed him eyeballing them, and I thought to myself "he wont come inside...will he?" next thing i know, he is flying inside my house, taking a peanut and bolting right back out!! I was thinking "Why that thieving little pig!!" I couldnt believe what I just saw!

This just goes to show how intelegent and selfish/stingy these little suckers are. but I sure love em!

Thanks again for looking!
Mike

#7 is probably the best as far as color and detail go. The other shots seem a bit shadowy, resulting in loss of color and detail.
Cute bird though!!

When the light is low and you can, maybe some fill-flash would bring out the shadows. The shots look good only the birds are dark and need some help...Maybe someone else can give you a better idea...Give us some more....since they will be around cleaning you out of peanuts...steve

If that beautifull bird hung around my place I'd have a hard drive full of just it.;). The light in #7 is great, the rest simply look backlit. Try getting some with the sun behind you, the colors should really pop then.Keep them coming.:D

I agree with the others, definitely could use some fill flash, and keep them coming! :)

Haha, ya it was quite strange that he came inside...
Thanks for the comments,

Mike if he comes in again, just use some of that glue that Gary and Mitch use to keep the bird in one place, that way you can get a good shot....Ha, Ha...I think one of those guys will sell you the recipe and it won't hurt the birds, as it's made from natural ingredients....steve
