I plan on purchasing a Canon EOS 1D Mark II, what online camera stores should I avoid.

belmondo is right. His rule goes with anything in general when purchasing products. Shop around and don't always bite on the lowest price... you'll get in trouble.

I was thinking about going with B&H Photo. They seem to have good reviews.

If B&H ISN'T the best out there, they're close to it. They were a pain in the butt on the 20D though, so I reserved mine elsewhere. Otherwise I can't say enough good things about B&H's site, customer service and delivery times.

B&H doesn't take pre-orders this early. That's their policy. If I was to pre-order the 20D, I'd go to Norman Camera.

I got my 1DMkII from B&H.. and over the uears, lenses, filters, tripod heads,. you name it.

My first place to shop for photography stuff.. me and most of the U.S. :)
