Eagle Almost.................

Just my bad luck, but I don't see it happening to you professionals.........

This Eagle was sitting in this dead tree just posing for me. As I go to trip the shutter he sticks his head behind a tree limb, then flys off befor I can take another shot! :oops:

As it turns out a local home owner told me that the Eagle is there every morning, so I will get another chance.

At least you got him mostly in the open. I shot one today, on a limb and he didn't move for 2 hours. I was stiff and sore before I left, and he was still there on that limb. :)

He gives patience instruction to Great Blue Herons in the off season.
