My First Still Life

Well maybe not, I've been taking pictures for **years, I don't remember ever doing a still life before.

I think it's great. I only see two issues: clone out that little flare coming off the candle (it's one little red spot), and there's a brightness on the left side that kills the atmosphere, so you should tone down or get rid of whatever lighting that is coming from the left.

Yeah, the light on the left is a little too bright. A brightness/contrast layer might help darken it a bit. Nice arrangement of the grapes and branches while the candle adds too the image but doesn't draw attention away from the basket.

That might be a problem if you start forgetting important stuff like where you put your camera :shock: :D
