File numbering question

Hi !
Did someone resolve the question as to how you can set the picture file number the D-60 uses for saving your pictures?

I messed up my "continuous numbering" the other day by inserting a CF flash from another Canon digital Camera, and the picture numbers continue to run from 3600-something onwards insead of 800 as before.

Changing to "Auto Reset Numbering" Starts again at picture 100-0001 ...

Any ideas ?

I would not worry about it too much. When you get close to 10,000 it resets anyway. Mine went from 100-9910 to 200-0001. I was kind of mad at first that I did not get the 9999, but anyway...
I have to be a little bit more careful now that I don't over write older files with the same file name.

Why don't you guys just rename your files once on your computer? There's many windows shell-intergration utilities that allow mass-renaming, consecutive renaming, etc. available on shareware sites.
