Had a very good day at Gigrin Farm. That is apart from the weather which was awful until a couple of minutes befor the sun set!

Super series of images Paul. Were you hand-holding the combo or what?

Excellent photographs. Were the Buzzards and Ravens there as well?

Thanks again. Yes Dai the 'supporting cast' were there in good numbers but we had such little time with even half decent light I have to admit I concentrated on the Kites. Got a couple of reasonable Buzzard shots when it was too dull for flight shots

Thanks again for the comments. Yes Pete they have built two hides specifically for photographers. The one I was in is at ground level in the gap where the tractor used to go through and the tower hide is above the other hides and is completely open fronted. If you go in the winter wear something warm!!

Beautiful captures Paul, next time I'm home in Brecon I'm going to swing by Rhyader and the farm and try my hand at getting some shots.
My wife and I were over there in April and we actually went by Rhyader when my mate was saying about watching the red kites at the feeding station, we had to pass up the oportunity as we were heading over to Aberwystwth and down towards Fishguard, St Davids and so on, Now I know next time I'm heading that way to at least spend the afternoon there.
I missed out on some magic that I need to make up for.
#2 is the image that captivates me, well done.
Love the buzzard shots too.
