View Full Version : MY AVI'S TO DVD

Hello i just got back from vacation and took a lot of movie mode video's with my canon s50 ,and was wondering is there any way i can burn them to a dvd to view on my dvd player.I don't have a dvd burner but i have a cd-rw which i understand that can do that using the vcd part on it,any help out there would greatly be appreciated. Also how would i convert it to mpeg-1 or mpeg -2 is there any fre apps: out there i can download that can help me with this PLEASE. :roll:

Ok, have not done this but a quick search of the web found me this site VideoHelp.com which seems to be what you want to do.

The software they talk about is freeware, so it should allow you to use it to see what results you can get without spending big dollars up front.

The simplest way to twiddle with AVIs is with "VirtualDub" (freeware), which you can download from the site. It will take a bit of work to become proficient with it but if you are going to take more AVIs in the future, it's a worthwhile investment in time.
