Hi all,
Puy de Dome is a very old dead vulcano in France. It offers you a great view over the area, e.g. on the other dead vulcanos next to it. Also it is a take-of point for parapente (para gliders). I tried to capture both in this one shot. What do you think? Did I succeed? What about composition?
I was on top of Puy de Dome at about the same hight as the para glider, looking down on the other vulcanos.
(I did some PS processing, mainly "levels" to get rid of the blue haze.)

I think that you have a fine image and that you met your objective.
I scanned the image before the text and thought that it looked like an old volcano. I don't see how one could quibble with the composition!
- It seems to be a hazy day.
- The time of day is not clear as I try to guide my guess by the light on the sail. I have to say late in the afternoon.
- Red is always a great color and you have positionned same at a nice point for the eye.

Well done! I spent time last summer walking the Sussex Downs near Lewes, England. On good days you'd see about 16 of these guys like birds soaring in the air. I'd love to try someday !

You won't believe this, but I just sat down at mt PC with a book by Epson entitled , " The Complete Guide to Printing" by Rob Sheppard. I had looked in the index to try to follow his tutorial on DROP-DOWN borders ! So I was delighted to see the border on your image. Now I will try to my own border.
