A buddy of mine got me to go out to shoot a band with him. At the time, all I had access to was a refurb. XT, Tamron 18-250mm (bad bad BAD for low light), and 50mm f/1.8. Even at 1600, I was having a hard time breaking past 1/20 sec. to stop the action. That made all the pics ... interesting.

There has been no pp on these, I mostly like them like they are, and they are only for practice really.

Nice detail shots but you didn't capture any specific moment.

These shots could have been taken anywhere at any time. I think if you add shots of the band members themselves you will get a better series.

That's good advice, I'll try to remember that. :)

The only counter point I have is that I was a secondary (maybe even as farther down than that, lol) shooter, just there to fill in, especially with the camera I had. So it wasn't too important to get shots that were capturing the moment, just something for the band to throw onto their myspace page.
