external microphone for g5?

can i use an external microphone for the g5 when shooting video? i want to get better sound from the outside of my car when i am filming from the inside of my car. thank you.

btw. already searched and i cant find anything.

Not unless you want to hotwire it. There's no jack for an external mic.
