View Full Version : 35mm or 50mm prime for the rebel?

I know that 50 mm is considered a "standard" lens for 35 mm sensor. My zenit has 55mm lens, but that thing is quite wide.
If I want to do portraits and all around indoor low light lens, will I be better off with the 50mm or 35mm
I don't like the 50/1.8, so the price is pretty much the same.

I accidentally posted it here. It's 3 am on saturday, the cortex is asleep long ago and most of my typing is governed by the spinal cord.
I usually don't do this.
