Has anyone had problems with noise bands in high contrast images with the Ixus 500?
There are multiple horizontal grey bands in several photos taken of sunsets, and taken in back light situations on snow. They have ruined some stunning images.
Never saw this on my G2 in thousands of images taken in challenging lighting conditions, but it is very common on my Ixus 500.
Is there a problem with the camera. I have seen it on two identical cameras![/img]
