If you are going the Ebay way I'd go for one of the bigger HK suppliers such as DigitalRev or Galaxy. Here is the link to where I got mine.

Any one of the HK one will work. I got one for $12 and it works fine.
If you're going to use it alot then I recommend the Canon one. The HK one's connector may become loose overtime and not connect tightly to the camera and you have to press it in hard and hold it to make sure the shutter fire. This happened to a friend of mine and he bought a Canon to replace.
So far mine holds up but I only used it a couple of times.

I can say the ones made by Adidt are solidly built. My wireless one is almost 3 years old now and still kicking

This is what happened to my Adidt during a 45min astro exposure, the connector slipped out of the camera after 5mins and I didn't notice it. Shot lost never to get the opportunity again. I thought I had not pressed it in properly, but after trying it several time it kept happening after a few minutes. The extra £12 is worth the piece of mind. You get what you pay for I suppose.

thanks. i'll look into that adidt.
can't really see the point of spending about £30 for the canon one when i'm only gonna use this once in a while...
or i might look into that wireless thing even!
thanks
Chandler.

Get the one made by TMR design, a POTN member. It supports this site if you buy it. I think this would be the highest quality ption for the lowest price.
