View Full Version : why are my shots with a S20 a little \"off\" on co

I recently picked up a refurbished S20 with full kit and a case for a good $315. I have been charging the battery, and while at my desk, I have taken some macro shots of my mouse and hand. The colors I am getting are either on the blueish side. I had Panasonic DMC-F7 with Leica lens a few days ago, and the colors are more natural (look more like the objects true color). Both shots were taken in respective macro mode, with flash off. Is there something I can do to get the color more in line with the Panasonic?

Other than this, the camera seems like a very good piece of equipment for the price.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

What white balancing options do you have on the S20? You should play with those settings to adjust your colour to the lighting conditions.

The Panasonic is a newer model, so its automatic white balancing may be more advanced (resulting in more accurate colour).
