Hey folks,
I set up a new Zenfolio site to show local parents / students the pics I took at the recent HS musical. I went public with it today so now it is safe to let y'all know where you can go

If you're of a mind, have a look. I welcome all feedback regarding the site, pics, pricing, presentation, etc.

Uh, that would be because I'm an idiot and can't remember the name of my "business".

Singular "DarwinPhoto", not plural "DarwinPhotos".

Wow, that's low noise for 1/1600. We're you looking for anything specific regarding C&C?
I do think you are very underpriced and the disparity between 4X6 and 5X7 seems odd. The 8X10 should be 2-3 times what you are charging. IMHO.

I suggest splitting the 'Sound of Music' gallery into acts... so much to view at one time...
Great shots!

Many of the shots are ISO 800, some are 1600. The 40D does better than my Nikon D40 did.
Price - the low price for the 4x6 is specifically to enable scrapbooking. This is my first set of "for sale" photos. I'm starting low hoping to build some level of customer base. We'll see what happens. I struggle with it. At one time I had 4x6 at 79 cents. I later raised them to $1 or so. Maybe $2 would be a better price? There are other local sports photographers who cover a game and put pics on the web for sale. Their prices are also quite low. I believe they're just doing it as a loss-leader to generate name recognition for their studio.
Yes, there are a lot of pics to see. The "My Picks" collection was my attempt to distill them all down to a manageable set of the best. People with little patience can look through that group. I may look at splitting them into groups though. That shouldn't be too hard now that they're all up there.

Is this the new premium service? If so, you might want to consider using the watermarking feature.(to build name recog and discourage screen-capturing)) Also, you should stick to the same theme for your homepage and all your gallery pages, IMHO
edit: you could go back and edit your first post to the correct URL;)

I really like these. I definitely think you should charge more for the 4x6 and the 8X10. They are way underpriced IMO. I'm a scrapbooking mom, and I would gladly pay more that $1 for a 4X6 of this quality. It certainly isn't something they can get with their Point and shoot camera. Also I agree with the watermarking. I learned this the hard way.

Please read this. (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=387260&highlight=decent)
Long debate, but decent shooters should not give away their work, IMHO.
