Not average at all, unique in the way it leans, it's showing it's age, the gate has been removed and is leaning against the wall. the ornamental look to the wrought iron and it's basic artistic form. A good photograph will bring out the artistic form in many everyday common objects. Photography is not about just pushing the shutter button it's about seeing and presenting things in a way that others may not have noticed.

Well said!
And I like the picture! It evokes emotion and thought; which is exactly what a good picture is supposed to do.
Cheers! :)

Thanks Zacker I appreciate the comment. If you are carefull and have the proper subject HDR can have a certain appeal, but it can be over down. ;)

lol... i know i actually LOVE HDR and Im just poking fun at all the people who look at an HDR image and instead of either giving some tips on how to make it better or not saying anything at all, just blurt out something like "I hate HDR" when the OP didnt even ask for their opinion to begin with..lol its just funny to me is all.. people are funny, just sit back and watch em for a bit, youll be amazed at how much we really are like sheep and follow the heard or better yet, we're like dogs with our noses waaaay up masters butt.

Thank you for the compliment. A teacher I'm not, like so many other things I believe you never really stop learning in photography, I've been at for many years and with a background in art, and graphic design I still find myself learning.

:lol: I never stop. Buy a new piece of gear or software and the learning kicks in big time. That and there is so much you can learn from other photographes just by looking at there work.
