Hi!
When I try to start ZoomBrowser, I get this message:
ZoomBrowser has generated afatal error. You need to restart.
Then it shuts down. I have tried to reinstall it, but i doesen't seem to help. Does anyone know what to do?
I have also "lost" some images in the view before this. I know they are in the right directory, but ZoomBrowser cant find them, the folder is empty when I try to wiew them from ZoomBrowser.
Gratefull for help!

I have had this happen once before and had to uninstall/reinstall ZB.
But try completely shutting down and rebooting your computer first. :)
If you do uninstall, make sure to move your photo folder out of the ZB directory or you may lose your pix. Then, after you reinstall, move the folder back. Finally, you'll need to "refresh" the image folder within ZB.
Good luck.

Thank you, but I have already tried this, all of it. And I still get the error message!
Any ideas?

Sounds like it is a conflict with either one of your device drivers or with another program/application.
On a Windows PC, check to see what else is running by doing a single Ctrl-Alt-Del and see what the Close Program box shows. You need to have Explorer, Systray, your mouse (Point32, etc.) and likely your antivirus programs running, but should be able to End Task all the others.
This will get you to where no other running programs will get in the way of ZoomBrowser. If it still errors you might be running into a conflict with your video driver. Check to see if there is an updated driver for your video board (chip if integrated w/ motherboard). You may also want to restart your PC in Safe Mode and see if the VGA monitor setting along with minimal drivers allows you to start ZoomBrowser. If so, you can at least know that the installation is OK. In this case, I would think that the video driver might be the culprit.

ZoomBrowser does seem to be a troublesome little beast.
Every time I open it I get the following message:
Zoombrowser has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.
ZOOMBROWSER caused an invalid page fault in
module CSP_OSU.DLL at 017f:0569313e.
Etc., etc. and blah, blah, blah.
There also seems to be a problem detecting the camera but that's a whole other post.
Grrrr...

Bottom line, Get rid of Zoombrowser! It's a useless program. If you want to unload pictures from your camera then use the XP camera wizard. It's fast. For editing you might just as well use a photoshop proram.

I've been having the same problems as the others here... unfortunately ditching Zoombrowser and using XP's camera wizard only works if you're using XP... not Win98 as I am
So, any other suggestions?
