I posted this before. Made some changes to the overhead lights to make them less yellow and give more of a B&W feel. I was trying to make it a little more gritty I guess. C&C always welcome and appreciated. --joe

Yes, I can see it this time! :-D Nice image. I think you captured them at exactly the right point, having the horizon half way up the subjects. It looks nicely balanced to me.
Some difficult conditions there by the look of it, shooting into the daylight from a dark subway. Was that a single exposure?

I shot several frames as people walked up and down this walkway, but most people kept walking way off to one side or another. Then this group in the shot walked around me and went right down the middle of the frame as if I wasn't there. It pays to sit and wait sometimes I guess. That's what I did. I probably took 15 shots of various other people. This one was the only real keeper. I was happy with it b/c it was authentic, ya know? I also took several test shots to get the right exposure I was looking for with the difficult lighting contrasts. Thanks for the comments Mike! :) --joe

Patience is a virtue eh'.....very cool shot, love the contrast you've achieved here and the composition is spot on. I would rotate it a couple of degrees to the left, given the symmetrical nature of the pic....hmmm maybe not as it would make the grate tilt more, lens distortion is difficult to control.

Thanks for the comments bikerider...I tilted it to line up with that grate in the foreground, but the picture does seem a bit off kilter and I think it was /bc I was not centered to the lights. Maybe some distortion too. Thanks again!:)
