I was going through some pictures I took in the fall and came across this one that I like. It was taken from the stands. C&C appreciated.

Good shot and it would be even better if the focus was on the ball but the speed of the ball and its dimensions make it almost impossible to get it, only by luck!

Well done. Quite the run the Rockies had there at the end!

exposure looks great. only suggestions from me are 1) a tighter crop so you isolate him and 2) having had the Tribe in the WS facing the Rocks instead of the Sox.

nice shot.

Nice shot. Was this one of the 6 runs he gave up in game 3 of the World Series? Just kidding. I'm big Red Sox fan and couldn't resist. Hopefully next year I'll get some shots like this one.

Nice timing, Frank! I disagree with orophin -- Josh Fogg is the subject of the pic, thus he and not the ball should be in focus. The motion blur you got of the ball in flight is perfect too -- just enough so that you can see the seams on the ball. As for a tighter crop, a portrait crop with only Fogg and the ball in the pic would make a good baseball card or photo for an autograph. However, including the ump and infielder in the background are the way you saw the game making it a good snapshot. So, as with all crops, it's a personal decision and depends somewhat on how the image will be used.

Thanks everyone. This picture was actually at game against the Pirates where Fogg got shelled. I only brought my camera to game 4 of the world series. Game 3 was my night to get silly.
