Nice shot. Never noticed before these had three little dots on the top of the head.

I read somewhere that all insects have those 3 "dots". It is suppose to define the horizon so they fly straight. Don't know if that's true or not. --Rick

impressive antennae, the 'dots' are simple eyes that sense light/dark and are assumed to make sure the insect knows which way is up in flight.
