So a while ago I was outside taking pics on a nice sunny blue sky day. I dont know what I was thinking, well actually I knew but it wasnt smart. I thought 'hey cool, take a pic of the sun and photoedit the hell out of it for something neat'. Again, not sure where my head was at that day. So I pointed at the sun, click, and took the snapshot that wasnt worth anything later.
So here I am about a month down the road and I noticed that my camera cannot take indoor or low light shots anymore, it just cant pick up enough light to focus. Is this repairable? I'm guessing the sensor at the end of the lense is broken now. Anyone know for sure what part this is? I saw the thread on LCD replacement and they seemed to fare well with Canon's parts.
Thanks for any help,
John
