Hey guys,
I've been hanging around here for a while, but haven't really had anything to post yet. Last weekend I took my car out for a shoot on what was probably the last good weather of the year. I'm not new to photography or cars, but I really haven't done a lot of automotive photography. It's something I'd like to more of though. The car is my 1960 Oldsmobile 98 two door hardtop. Odds are you probably haven't seen one before...they're relatively rare. Somewhere around 7000 made that year. I got mine from a junkyard 12 years ago for $300, and I've been working on it off and on ever since. It's not done, but it's getting there. It's a stock restoration, except for things like the wheels, and a few things that can't be done stock because you just can't get the parts to do it anymore (the Starlite headliner for example). I rebuilt the engine to stock specs...a 394, 4 barrel, dual exhaust (with packs...hey, it's retro right?). Stock output is 315 HP, and (this is the fun part) 435 ft/lbs of torque. Anyway, here's the pics...let me know what you think:

You can see more of it at www.montanaphotos.net/olds2/
After I shot the exterior, I only had enough time to shoot a couple of detail shots, and almost nothing of the interior...it'll probably have to wait until spring now. I also think they might be slightly underexposed, but I like the mood of them. I shoot RAW, so it doesn't really matter...I can always boost it later. Anyway, comments appreciated.
